This course provides a complete learning journey for professionals aiming to master the end-to-end process of System Automation (SA) migrations. Designed for individuals with foundational expertise in SA, NetView for Z/OS, and policy database management, the course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to independently lead successful migration projects or contribute effectively as part of a team.

Learners will explore Planning and preparation to understand the responsibilities and best practices for initiating and planning SA migration projects, gain the ability to define migration objectives, establish project timelines, and collaborate with stakeholders including internal teams, project managers, contractors, and clients.

Learners will also delve into Execution and Deployment to explore managing and supporting system migrations during deployment phases. They will also learn to transition clients from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Z System Automation and Z NetView seamlessly, with an emphasis on monitoring, managing, and addressing challenges effectively.

Lastly, learners will master the critical closing and post-migration steps of migration projects, including finalizing documentation, addressing technical issues, and ensuring compliance with IBM's high standards.
